Rangers Triumph Over Golden Hawks in Season Opener
VISALIA, Calif. – The Redwood Rangers kicked off their season with a dominant performance on the road Friday, securing a convincing 41-20 victory against the Centennial Golden Hawks. The Rangers' offense and defense were in sync, leaving Centennial struggling to keep up throughout the game.

Redwood's senior duo, running back Jimmie Burk and quarterback Jordan Arreola, led the charge. Burk was a force on the ground, rushing for 128 yards and two touchdowns on just 12 carries. Arreola was equally effective through the air, completing passes for 167 yards and two more scores.

The Rangers' defense proved to be a major factor, stifling the Golden Hawks' passing game and limiting them to a mere 46.2% completion rate. The secondary was particularly impressive, snagging six interceptions from Centennial's quarterback. Standout performances included Brody Preisendorf, who notched two interceptions, and London Butler, who contributed a pick-six. Linebacker Enrique Segura also continued his streak of strong defensive play, posting five or more tackles for the 11th consecutive game.

The Rangers' formidable lead, which was pushed to 35-7 by the end of the third quarter. While the Golden Hawks showed some fight in the final quarter, Redwood's early dominance sealed the victory.
